  • Thank you all for your kind comments ,    Wintersong -I only know it`s some kind of Margaret daisy bought from B&Q three years ago , I take cuttings every year , it doesn `t survive the winter for me . Topbird  --the blue flower is from some mix seed packet , it looks very much like a .more robust forget-me-not , I will post a photo on here I`m sure somebody will Id it ,the purple flower is Party Girl a perennial but didn`t do as well this time . Thanks Wendy.

    Wendy, beautiful garden.image

    Lyn, the hydrangeas are beautiful.image

    Chicky your borders are wonderful.image

I  will have to rethink my borders. The trouble is I want everything and I cram it in and then the plants suffer for it and are not shown off to their full potential. Plus I let everything seed and grow and can't bear to pull it up afterwards.image

Thank you bothimage.  Frothy is what I am striving forimage.  The whole garden is on a slope - but luckily south facing, so gets lots of sun.  So most things tend to grow at a slightly tipsy angleimage

Everyone's gardens look so beautiful and fresh. Love blue and white. Sometimes I think I'm fighting a losing battle in SW France, especially in a heatwave year like now. The thunderstorms stop it conking out completely. My garden is now probably a month ahead of in England, but flowers don't stay in flower as long as they do in England.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
