Thank you. My garden is in Dordogne, France. That tree is a weird sort of sideways spreading prickly conifer that my first OH (died) planted in 1992. He liked prickly plants! I don't care for it much and I cut off the sideways bits as I wanted to see up the garden and to make mowing easier.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Thank everyone, Chicky the white flowers are only Honesty, last Springs seeds planted out in the Autumn, not intentional to have them all white, there should have been some purple ones.
It is a beautiful view and an ideal setting, there is not a day when I dont give thanks fof the privilage of living here.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Thanks guys. Winter - we got a good deal for bulk buying the trelllis, and put it all up ourselves ..... took many evenings and weekends. But so worth it to be able to have an area where I can grow what I want without having to worry about Bambis. We are on box blight alert - just one box ball succumbed this winter, but won't be surprised if it spreads. If so will have to start again with yew

Lovely view from your garden, Lyn. And your new border looks much nicer than a conifer hedge. Well-done!

That purple one is stunning RB!
Great tulips Runny - lovely colours.
starting to look a bit frothy out there:
oH has given the stumpery an extension
Gorgeous chicky! And that fencing and trellis you built to keep the deer out must have cost a bob or two
I spy box edging, hope it's not blighted
I remember your woes earlier in the year (sure it was you )
Thanks guys
