Been a tough year here for me getting to grips with the garden and the fast pace everything grows here. Today though, even though a bit grey and gloomy thought my 'middlebed' was starting to come together - finally. Has gone from overgrown jungle to bare patch to looking very promising - I hope. image

Your raised bed is looking lovely Chicky.

I'm feeling I'm in a losing battle with weeds! Wishing garden was smaller, that pic is part of it. Not as young as I was when we planned it over 20 years ago! And I've added bits since.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hi Lizzie, your always looks fabulous but I know what you mean about the weeds, they always seem to grow twice as fast as everything else! image

This little beauty showed it's face today, last year was completely overgrown and I thought I had killed it when I first weeded this patch, everything was so tangled together.
