Now you're trying to confuse me, Hosta. Its bad enough having to work out the clocks, but the seasons, as well!!  I'm beginning to admit that age is a barrier to some earlier activities.image

Only side-shooted and pinched out Mum's tomatoes today.  She's away (in Normandy - she says it'll be her last trip abroad) and her automatic watering system (two bits of cloth and a bucket) seems to be working well!

I'm just staying here for a few days pending a decision about Tyro's engine.image

Ok, ok. I get it.   Our seasons have been strange too. This is the longest winter I can remember. I hope we don't have a scorcher next summer to make up for it. I don't like the 30plus days. image

  • I had a really constructive day yesterday, somehow managed to fix a waterbutt with a bockety tap/thread after nearly a year of leakage. I say somehow as I know I've tried every tap, even draining other butts to change the taps, with and without washers, with and without plumbers tape and somehow yesterday a random spare tap I tried seems to workimage

Weather seems a bit dull today and I'm wondering if I can get away with moving some of the 8 million plants that are in the wrong place...image
