You are making me feel guilty - it's too cold to be outside, so apart from tucking in a bit of the plastic cover on the greenhouse which had been loosened by strong winds last night, I came back inside.
thanks Pippin. It's not too hard to take your advice- besides, there's not much I can do about it. We are expecting more snow/rain tonight. wretched weather!
at least these chats are keeping me amused while keeping me in touch of my beloved gardening subject.
Aah, Pat E, so you are in the middle of winter, so lots of reasons to stay inside and keep warm! I lived in South Africa for many years and believe it or not, Johannesburg gets VERY cold in winter....
Hi pippin. Yes I'm always 6 months and 9 hours behind all of you over there, but I'm sure you can relate to the seasonal differences.
Charlie, how do you find these strange sites? I can imagine that you spend a fair bit of time on the computer (like my OH). He comes out with some strange stories also. I rely on TV news to advise most ooh ayah stories, but I like al the other ones people find. the seasons are certainly strange lately - what do the non climate changers say now?

Don't feel guilty - its the time of year when nothing is too urgent - a cup of tea and just looking at the garden is certainly in order!
