Cut back about 30 pulmonaria , powdery mildew ahoy!

Thousands of seeds aready scattered, so plenty of seedlings for next year.

Will have a look for other varieties- the sissinghurst white looks nice .

Spent really good day In Garden with O/H

    Sorted out g/h , 6 toms in plus 6 outside - moneymaker , 4 cucumbers , 4 chilies , 1 pepper not usually successful , marigolds and basil

7 hanging baskets of cherry toms , sweet pea pot

plus o/h got some toms on trial ? To be grown out side , blight resistant ?

gave next door some toms and cucumber , still a few left to give away

took longer than thought , just having a beer before dinner image

Planted up 4 more troughs and 3 pots, begonia "Dragon's Wing", Lobelia, Petunias, Nemesia.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Planted runner beans and erected net; weeded the rest of the veg and the strawberries.  Dug out more dandelions from the lawn.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Planted up my daughters borders with mixed bedding, cut her lawns and had a bash at the horsetail behind her shed (suspect that's for the long haul).

Came home, cut my lawns, trimmed the hedge, potted up busy-lizzie and begonias and took out the wallflowers that had passed their best.

Moved some more Geranium x oxonanium 'Dreary Pink' around, for the umpteenth time. Such a boring plant but useful for plugging gaps where nothing else much will grow, or where it would be a waste to buy something specifically for that spot.
