I didn't see you either. (Or maybe I did, but you didn't look the way I'd expect ...) Different village, perhaps?
I had a lovely afternoon potting up campanulas, dianthus, pulmonarias, hellebores etc, then admiring the spring flowers which have opened since I was last in the garden, and the bees and butterflies visiting them. More tomorrow...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Lovely sunny day in Brum. Reduce a ttee stump (what a workout) and not really gardening in my book,. Got a great deal of satisfaction out of this because I was doing this work for my nephews who have moved in to a new house. They have suggested I produce them a garden that presently consist of a lawn that is 4m x 8m
I did some brick mining, just one bucket full today, and dug up some stinging nettles. Planted some thalictrums rescued from certain death in a nettle patch. Moved some non flowering Anemone nemorosa to place more likely to please. Planted seed raised ragged robins and hope the chosen site is not too dry.
Didn't get home from grandchildren time untill late afternoon so Sat in the middle of my patch and contemplated with a cuppa then watered GH and wandered round the garden with a weed bucket and pruners( All I needed were green wellies and floral gardening gloves ) surveying the estate proper gardening tomorrow yippee
You've been busy again Wintersong. Moving plants around again I see. Mine have all stayed in the same place today.
Mulched and fed perennial pots
Potted up a load of baby pelargoniums, verbena, diascia and chrysanthemums.
Planted Liriope Gold Bank and Royal Purple, Geranium Brookside, Tiarella Pink Skyrocket and Aquilegia Munstead White. Wonder if they will stay where I've put them

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Planted clematis and foxgloves, attacked Jap Anem with glysophate and tidied up a scruffy bit of the garden where I do my potting up.

Dove you need to eat more of the stuff.
Tilled for cabbage and spuds today.
Sprayed weeds in gravel yard with round up.
lovely weather.
Ate some rhubarb for good measure.
So I started this morning deciding how much space my baby Yucca will end up needing, then to more industrious projects...
