Sowed more sugar peas (OH's favourite veg, so we need a succession), potted on more wild flower seedlings which were outgrowing their plugs (need sturdy plants to try to get the better of the slugs), and done some more weeding. Sunny and warm!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Planted abother plum tree, sowed parsnips, another row of carrots between rows of onions, planted out cauliflowers, kale, several varieties of peas, cucumbers. And planted up my new cutting garden with all the annuals I have grown from seed. I seem to recall a cutting garden thread from earlier this year? Must look for it.
Planted out the last of the geums/foxglove/Coreopsis in the garden. Moved the Tagetes and Birdsfoot out into the cold frame. Just wish it would get consistentlywarm up so we can get everything else out.
I have moved three Geranium 'Brookside' which I only planted yesterday (moved each plant about three inches, pretty pointless but it was bugging me!) Planted a Cuphea cyanea cutting. Potted on some Hesperis matronalis. Sown a tray of almost forgotten Caulteya spicata Robusta seeds.
"What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbour".
Weeding was easy today after last night's rain. Planted twelve more of my potatoes I saved from last year's crop and potted on some tomato plants into their final pots. Put some of the large pelargoniums out in the sunshine but cold night forecast so will have to bring them in again tonight.
Went to pot up 6 white pelargonium, instead decided to plant Clematis jackmanii alongside Potentilla Summer Sorbet but had to yank out a rogue honeysuckle and move a fern.
Chance to improve the builder's rubble and hang another trellis for climbing rose, Virginia Creeper combo
Pelargoniums can wait a day, bath now before IPL cricket
Just put out all my baskets wasn't as cold as predicted rather safe than sorry. Gooseberry picked for sawfly grubs none found but I know ones there cos another branch is stripped off to GC now early bird gets the pick of the crop . Or maybe the best cake

Potted up two large containers with summer bedding, went to GC to buy more pots and plant food for lush summer displays
