Frosty start with sun, turned to drizzle here.

    So far

    Blue tit

    Great tit

    House sparrow

    Starling

    Great spotted woodpecker

Caught sight of a hawk as well, saw all the birds shoot off in different directions and thought one must be about. It looked larger and slower than a sparrow hawk, only caught a very short glimpse of it as it went through a gap in a hedge.

A sparrowhawk, sat on top of the bird table.

Unsurprisingly, no other birds in sight.

We have a lot of LBJs, I have got the reed buntings sorted now but there are still some to go.

Interestingly, LBJs also turn up in the moth traps through the summerimage

Pouring down with rain here today, lots of blue tits and great tits a single collared dove and I a flash of white from a chaffinch. Need to be brave and go fill up the peanut and sunflower seed feeders image

Apologies for the poor colour quality of video, it is one of my older cameras and it doesn't like the winter much! This is what happens when the peanuts run out! You can almost hear them saying 'where's the peanuts, where's the peanuts' image
