Daily Bird Sightings 2015

I thought of this yesterday after a couple of us posted up NYD sightings. Then spotted another post about bird sightings on a thread today and thought it might be worth starting this up.

So post up a daily list of the birds you have seen in the garden. image

    Flock of about 20 black-headed gulls descended into the garden to take some fat I'd put on the grass for the blackbirds

    blue, great and coal tits, blackbird, woodpigeon, collared dove, sparrow , hundreds of them, millions of starlings who invade local farms over winter, chaffinch, goldfinch, robin

  • Blue tit, Great Tit, Long tailed tit, Mum and Dad Blackbirds, several robins,sparrows, dunnocks, buzzards, magpies, seagulls, starlings, hooded crows.

    Forgot to put on my list for today a sparrow hawk I saw swoop through in the morning, only remembered seeing it when I caught sight of a barn owl this evening at dusk.

  • Flock of Siskins has just passed through, resting in tree for several minutes.

  • All the regulars - brownbirds, starlings, couple o' house sparrows...

    Oooh and a special one - saw a wren today don't see them/it very oftenimageimage
