    My woodpecker has just come back, they breed in the garden and bring their young, then they are gone for months. 

    Just the usual here.

    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • Two Tree Sparrows on our National Trust Fatballs yesterday means last year's lonely boy/girl has found a friend!

    Feeling a bit under the weather today, so up late, only blue tits, great tits and sparrows at the moment. image

    Spent a joyful couple of minutes today watching a wren searching through pots and troughs.

    Here's a robin from Christmas Day at Rudyard Lake near Leek, Staffs.
