So glad you like my efforts at artistic photos with my zoom lens, ladies. I did have fun doing it. I thought I might get pics of more of my insects than the lonely beefly but they were dozing I think. Perhaps they knew the weather was changing. It is very wet in Bristol and top temp. of 15 degrees forecast today plus winds so no outside work today, but two of my sons came visiting yesterday and one has decided I need a hand this autumn so is coming back in two weeks to help with the autumn pruning before leaf fall. He knows there can be a problem in my long drive with leaves dropping if I leave it too late to prune next door's trees. The last thing I need is a fall on slippery leaves in the winter going out to the shops or post box.
Hello Marion. You and I must have posted at the same time. If you knew the trouble I had with the spell checker!!!! You'd understand that those three photos took ages to upload.
Is the zoom lens new? We had about 22c today, but the main GH reached 35c without even trying, and that was with the door open. Very sunny and a bit uncomfortable outside.
My zoom lens came with my Canon EOS camera as a package but is so heavy with it on I rarely use it, but it is such fun to use. I get very vocal using it - can be heard by the neighbours saying things like oh my just look at that before i click!!! Nice photos of spring in your garden, Pat. I see the bought in tomato plant with its freebie are thriving and love those violas.

Fantastic, Marion, what a difference .
The light was perfect for taking pics so I took out my Zoom lens and had fun up the garden.

Oh my the heavens have opened in Bristol so as the zoom lens was still on my camera I took a pic of the rain from my back door.
