Sorry Flumpy, finger hit the wrong button.

Looks like we might have an overcast day today but you can never tell this early.

My neighbour is apparently burning something over the river. It always fascinates me how the smoke gets to a certain level and then spreads sideways along the valley.

Flumpy, your job sounds very responsible. You must have to be very careful. Good on you.image

Here we are all straightened up, yes I can see the smoke it is strange how it's doing that, it's as of the wind is blowing over the hill.

yes my job can be stressful and demanding sometimes, I'm off to noddy land now chucks so night night for now and Pat "have a nice day" image

Yes flumpy my plums are luscious.  I too have lots more strawberry flowers so even they are giving a second crop this year.  I also have my first woodland strawberry ripening on one of the two strawberry plants I am trialling for Bob Flowerdew (he of the pigtail who is on Gardeners Questiontime and writes books and in the Amateur Gardening Mag).  Looking forward to tasting that.  Bristol is sparkling in the sunshine too and I expect to get loads done in the garden today.  Lots of seeds to sow as well as weeding and planting to do and plum trees to prune.  Youngest son visiting this weekend so more birthday goodies and some help in the garden.

I know who Bob flowerdew is now, I've seen him on garden programmes, I wonder if the strawberries will be bigger than the normal ones, it will be interesting to see the end result Marion : )

No, small strawberries grown for flavour not size.
