Cloudy and a bit breezy this morning - such a huge change from yesterday when brilliant sunshine was enticing everyone outside. Ahh well, I can at least be thankful I made good use of the great weather yesterday and am not creaking anywhere this morning.
Do you mean two chrysanthemum flowers on the one plant or two plants, flumpy? Yes Wednesday is the big day, looks good as regards weather. Just had to run in as I was taking advantage of the good light for photography to get some close-ups when the rain came down.
Slugs just adore chrysanthemums as they emerge fro the soil - like caviare to them. Have a look to see if there is any shoots that you may be able to get to grow from the plant and put them in a pot. Two chrysanthemum plants from last year should be many more this year rather than just one growing flumpy.
That explains what's happened because one is in a high planter such is now growing back, where as the other chrysanthemum is in the flower bed, I will dig the root up and have a look, thanks Marion : )
Not this morning yet flumpy but he will probably be around. When he gets more used to me I will take his pic. Cloudy again this morning and I see we have had a shower of rain through the night but not much. Certainly good gardening weather and I am full of beans (not literally though I soon will be as there is a gtreat crop of broad beans again). I hope you ae having a good holiday weekend.
Yes we are going for a nice walk then for tea we are having carvers mmmmm : ), it's quite cloudy here so think I should take a rain coat just in case, het my sweet peas are about a foot tall already : ), happy gardening Marion x

Is it your open day on Wednesday?, I've seen the weather looks lovely that day : ).
Last year I had two chrysanthemums but there's only one seems to be growing, is this normal?
