Hello , I have put net over my strawberries at the allottment , I get them from poundland and some tent pegs , very successful , can you guess how much it cost ?
Marion I am hoping that I can attach a photo of one of my paintings, so here goes:
Didn't work, so might try again later. Both Hubby and I tried (and he is realily good at computer things) - so we don't know what has happened.
One positive thing about the snow melting is that our river (which is our eastern boundary) has changed from a trickle to a sheet of water from one side to the other. It needs a good clean out now and then. It flows eventually into the Murrumbidgee River and then on to the Murray River, so I guess other people will be happy as well.
Aah yes,Pat, the snow does lock up the fresh water - alpines would not survive if it didn't! They hate cold wet but snow is like a duvet to them, keeps them dry and warm. I cannot help with the pic of your painting problem I'm afraid as I just took a pic on my camera of mine on the bedroom wall, transferred it to my laptop and uploaded from there no trouble.
Yes, we tried that and a few other things (at least hubby did), but because the painting is of plants, I thought you might lime seeing it. We'll work on the problem later.

Marion - we can't believe it! I had put a title on it called Pat's Painting. Hubby thinks that the apostrophe was the problem. Amazing!
o.K. Here it is at last. To give you some mental exercise, you can have some fun trying to work out the botanic names of them. I'll give you a break by identifying the Acacia, because that is a bit much - Acacia kettlewelliae.
I gave the original of this painting to my cousin's daughter when she got married in June this year, and since she married a Frenchman, the painting now resides in France.
We make greeting cards from many of my paintings which sell quite well in the gallery where I volunteer, and this one is one of the most popular.
Oh Pat, I most certainly do. The delicacy of the flowers is perfect for the water colour medium. TY for taking the trouble (and it certainly was trouble).to post it and thank your husband too.

I paid 20p for a huge net curtain but I expect poundland nets are neater.
