Hello Flumpy I'm afraid that the bike group will have to use a different route. That was why hubby and his friend were out there trying to plan a viable route. It's obvious that the road in the photo hasn't been used for ages. That road is somewhere between where we are in the mountains and the coast.
its now 7.30pm and the snow is starting to fall again. Maybe it'll last a bit longer over night.
You will be building snow kangaroos in the morning (Just kidding), do you have to drive a 4 x4 there?, I can imagine it's hard in winter and you will have to stock up food ?
Pat lives near a ski resort, flumpy, so I imagine there were lots of winter sports in the past but not so many now she is 75! We have steady rain in Bristol now so i have a duck pond forming outside the kitchen - something I have not had for some time.
Our rain has petered out flumpy but did the garden good while it lasted and may get some more tonight. My new potatoes were delicious at lunchtime and looks like a good main crop as well so we must have had enough rain at least for a good potato crop as I have not watered any of them.
Strangely it's not rained here, it's been sunny all day long, that's not what the weather man said but I'm not complaining, as promised, I took photos of my mum and dad's garden..............

Yes, hubby's vehicle is a 4 wheel drive utility, but mine is a little Mazda 101 which I have had from new in 1993. I wouldn't change it for anything.
We always have a good cupboard full of stocked food in case we can't get into town. As it is. We usually only go in once a week for shopping.
You've got me thinking about a snow kangaroo now- but I can't imagine going out in it.
No, and am too old at 75 to start now!
have you?
