Take care Marion, it's a gorgeous day in the South West, don't overdo it, it makes you feel like you want to be out all day, then you come in shattered!
still lots of colour in your garden.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Gloomy in Bristol today but still dry and calm so a good day for gardening again and the green wheeliebin will be empty once more but not for long. There looks like enough leaves on the drive for me to start filling up a black plastic bin liner with them for leaf compost next year too.
I dug up and cleaned for the second time a patch of my new perfume garden and planted three agastache two of which have a blue flower stem showing. Poor things still think it is summer. I had a £37 rebate on my water bill this morning so now planning on buying some new plants. I will see what bargains the Secret Gardening society is offering this week.
Spent £16.96 on three shrubs - Weigela "Victoria"- and nine perennials, three each of Echinops retro, Helianthus "Lemon Queen" and Salvia nemerosa "Amethyst". Now to find big pots for them Thank you for your kind thoughts, Runnybeak. I am very mindful of my age .and capabilities and try not to let my enthusiasm overrule my common sense.

Yes Lyn. I will warm up well before starting and wear my full length old raincoat to make sure I stay warm.
Up my garden this afternoon in the brilliant sunshine.
Hello spent most of today at allotment , also tied up greenhouse and used sulphur candle to clean G/H
Oh I remember lighting the smoke candle in my 40ft greenhouse I used to have! The children thought it all some kind of magic!
