I had an e-card for Easter from my friend which had lovely spring graphics and choral singing from Bath Abbey set to Houseman's poem in which he says the daffodils die on Easter day.  Unless we have very freak weather mine certainly will not. i even have some in the garage which i forgot to plant which are flowering!

We must have had quite a lot of rain during the night as the garden is soaking wet.  We have a forecast for heavy rain again in the afternoon but it is getting better (the forecast I mean) as the Weekend wears on so high hopes for the Art and Sculpture Exhibition at the Botanic Garden.

Lovely card. flumpy.  Hope you have a peaceful day too.  Green wheeliebin has just been emptied so lots of people do not have the day off here.  Some shops are open.

My garden bin needs emptying, the council always miss mine so I always have to ring them in advance, it's wet here but that wind has dropped finally image, my sweet peas now have leaves on them, they are growing so fast image.

You should be pleased with the osteospermums from Mr. F, flumpy.  I have some in pots from last year and one has a pink flower opening.  Should be able to get them planted out this week.

Still drizzling in Bristol but I protected my camera with my raincoat to show you the delights in my garden this Good Friday.  The Marsh marigolds are opening, the fritillaries too and the tulips just get better and better.  vinca major is flowering the spinney too and the primulas are covered in blooms.
