  • In borders: 1 hellebore in flower, lots more in bud; Cyclamen hederiflorum, fuchsia magellicana, chimonanthus praecox (wintersweet) is flowering madly whilst still has some leaves to drop, one very early snowdrop (but most still poking their noses up), 1 Japanese anemone, 1 geranium macrorhizzum, daphne aureomarginata in bud, camellia "Debbie" buds looking like they are about to open. In pots:  pelargoniums and violas flowering

Panda - i think KEF was right with her H for your first pic - the leaves look like a Helisynchrum (?spelling?) - but I have never had flowers on mine, so they might be coming from something elseimage

There are 2 plants in Panda's first pic. I've seen both at the GCs container and basket plants shelf. but I can't name either of themimage

Aha !  That would explain why my heli-wotsits never flower - thought maybe I was doing something wrongimage

  • I think the white flowers in Panda's first pic are Bacopa cordata, the larger leaves are a foliage plant but I can't remember its name either.

Could Panda's silvery leaved foliage plant be Helichrysum petiolare? http://www.easybloom.com/plantlibrary/plant/licorice-plant-1

Often used for bedding and pots so it would go with the others. image

Frozen again, -7°. Think my flower count is postponed until next year!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
