3" of snow between 7.00pm & 9.30pm. Cars unable to get up the main road.
This morning slight melt in some places, but can't get out of the patio door as snow on the steps has frozen or just too heavy to move with the door Need to get dressed and go around and shift it. Some cars moving slowly up the road.

Much worse in north notts than south. A 38 near Mansfield is diabolical.
M1 from jct 28 to 25 slightly better. 40mph speed limit too fast. No gritting done before 8pm.

8cm, 3 1/4 " here in Sheffield. Lovely, wonder if I'll be building a snowman or going to spa as planned with sister tomorrow! Happy either way.
