Just two of my favourites - so refreshing after all the snow, rain & gales! [They obviously love the 'diet' of hg compost I gave them after their severe 'haircut' last December!!!].
DG smothers hers with mushroom compost each summer, plus some BFB. I am not sure if mine are as good either. Perhaps last summer was not ideal for them?
I may see her again soon, so will ask for you if I can.

how beautiful, am v jealous, i have 3!! neeed to move them actually, was thinking i'd do it after flowerring?
I divided and moved a smallish one in spring last year and it was still ok.
Moving after flowering is too early and risks loss. Wait until fully dormant in summer and before growth starts.
Hi Verd.... Diana Guy showed one called Croaticus... dark enough?
