Just two of my favourites - so refreshing after all the snow, rain & gales! [They obviously love the 'diet' of hg compost I gave them after their severe 'haircut' last December!!!].

how beautiful, am v jealous, i have 3!! neeed to move them actually, was thinking i'd do it after flowerring?

  • I divided and moved a smallish one in spring last year and it was still ok.

  • Moving after flowering is too early and risks loss. Wait until fully dormant in summer and before growth starts.

  • Hi Verd.... Diana Guy showed one called Croaticus... dark enough?

  • DG smothers hers with mushroom compost each summer, plus some BFB. I am not sure if mine are as good either. Perhaps last summer was not ideal for them?

I may see her again soon, so will ask for you if I can.
