Although I love Christine I must say I'm not feeling it with this new series image Don't really know why image Maybe not into the views from above and non gardening bits, I dunno and it's a shame as I usually love all gardening programmes

I loved her series from years ago set in her own garden and with her lovely old neighbours image

Watched this series for the first time today, enjoyed it a lot. I'm always kind of blown away by gardens, but particularly liked York Gate Garden run by the charity Perennial.

I loved York gate too. Really like the idea of all those gardens in one place. Does anyone know if members of the public can visit it?

  • Yes, it's open to the public at certain times - details here http://perennial.org.uk/garden/york-gate-garden/ image

Just looked through the pictures on the website Dovefromabove, I'm even more in love with it, the different 'rooms' make it seem so magical. image

  • Christine is a natural lovely lady gardener and hooray she came up to Northumberland.

Really enjoyed this programme today because she went to my original home county of Norfolk (since emigrated to Suffolk) and she went to E Ruston - one of the most beautiful & inspirational gardens I've visited. Even better - I went with the TWIGS group & I was instantly transported back to a lovely day in July. It was warm, it was sunny & the company was excellent - perfect.

The programme definitely added an extra dimension to the garden as the aerial shots really showed the beautiful plan, design and sheer scale of the garden.

Can't recommend a visit too highly image
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
  • Topbird image  I set it to record - hope it's followed my insructions.

That was a lovely day wasn't it image

I enjoyed the Norfolk one. Just goes to show what can be achieved without qualifications, degrees, letters after names etc.

I am not keen on her though, she likes you to know that she knows it all.

^definitely...and that's what I was getting at earlier.... but not everyone sees this, people think she's down to earth and ordinary, but actually I find her attitude quite superior at times... and she hurries people up when they're talking...
