  • Thanks for that, I was wondering when that was starting.

Oh great, I was looking for it last Monday. I don't know Christine Walkden, but I love the idea of aerial views of gardens.image

  • She did a couple of series about her garden, and a book too. Worth a read.

Maybe you'll recognise Christine Artjak. This is one of her books and it is one of my most favourites. Watching Christine really spurred me into getting into gardening. Such a lovely introduction to gardening and such a lovely lady.

No Tootles, I don't know her, but looking forward to Monday; she looks like a gardener not a wannabe celebimage

  • Come on folks!  Sit down with a cuppa!  Christine's on telly now!!! image

She's sailing over Verdun's garden down in Cornwall in a hot air balloon!

  • Loved the programme - wonderful views of Trebah and lots of information too.   There was also much more 'general interest' as I suppose fits with a programme going out at 3.45 in the afternoon, but it was really interesting stuff, and made me long to be in Cornwall again and I've been surfing the net for holiday cottages!

And although Christine is not a 'wannabe celeb' she's definitely a bit of a star, in the best sense of the word image

A program that is packed with sensational delights, including Christine absailing!  It had just about everything - history, geography, drama, music, interesting people with interesting stories to tell, fabulous gardens and plants.  I hope the BBC get international acclaim for this one.  Well done all the production team.  This can be repeated as often as you like as far as I am concerned.
