Growing Sweet Peas 2014/2015

  • Hello I pinched out my sweet peas tips today and spotted two more seedlings coming up - which is good

    Hi David wish i had read through the reply above me as i wouldint have have had to trawl through a 10000 pages to see your reply knackerd now can you tell me i have 3 plants growing from a pot what should i do image

  • Wills I would leave them when you buy them in garden centres - some times they have 8 or more plantlets in a 9cm pot just plant them out all together

  • depends are you growing them in a wigwam or straight row?

    you could lean them in the direction you want them to grow when they are a bit bigger

    Im Growing them straight up i am going to add wires as i go image do not want net or mesh image

    Hi David, I was wondering is it ok to grow sweet peas in the same position as last year? Last year was the first time I grew them and was hoping to have them in the same site.

    Yes, they will be fine to be grown in the same place this year. It isn't specific to just sweet peas, crop rotation is advisable for all crops to avoid build-up of soil borne pests & disease.
