They look great but what i mean't was have you any photo's of them growing in your garden where they are tall and have spread out? Just i want to plant them at the bottom of my garden to cover the fence i have there . It's a mesh type of fence so they'll get plenty of sun and daylight.

    Thanks

    Baz

Baza here is a pic of mine a few years ago when I did really well with them and hoping for the same effect this year - up a fence

  • Gardengirl's is a better example than mine ( don't often photograph them whilst growing) but imagine these are growing up 8ft canes.

Can't really say, Gg......my daughter bought it for me years ago. It may be worth mentioning that SPs look quite good in a mug, especially when the stems are short.

Baza, I would just say that sweet peas are just cut flowers and not a display feature i.e. they must me cut regularly otherwise they will cease to flower & prematurely go to seed.

Also read on here you have to cut the flowers off so they don't go to seed ,When do you start to do this?

Don't think I ever said that, but it is a fact that seed pods should be removed asap. The idea is to cut the flowers regularly before they go to seed in the first place.
