  • Hope you had a lovely holiday.  Out grass needs cutting too - that's because it's a nature reserve and full of baby frogs and toadsimageimageimage  Well, that's our excuse and it's not going to get mowed today or tomorrow .......

Wrist definitely mending and I'm feeling much better since an indulgent day yesterday and a present today - definitely looking forward to tomorrow image

I'm sure we'll be able to find you a crust .......... image

Well... I was just pulling me wellies on  & the heavens opened - now we've got thunder & lightning - so I guess the grass will have to wait till Sunday.

Glad the wrist is on the mend Dove - have I got the right time for tomorrow?

Thanks Dove  - should be excellent.

We have just had an absolute monsoon here so I used the interval to look at the Met Office forecast for tomorrow .... image

What is it about our outings that attract severe weather warnings? image - one now in place for rain in East Anglia tomorrow.

Still we won't dissolve will we? & my waterproof is pretty good! Hopefully the worst will be through by mid morning but I might stick my wellies in too - just in case.....

There's a big grass carpark, plenty of space for picnicsimage

It rained (in a half-hearted way) most of the morning here.

I'm glad you're still on Topbirdimage

None of my jackets keep water out, I'll sling OH's cycling cape in, and my garden boots

  • Haven't had any rain here in yonks - all the water butts are dry, so some rain would be good - but I can wait until after tomorrow .........

I'll bring Red Carmargue rice salad with Feta cheese, caramelised red onions, peppers and toms all from the garden, Celeriac and carrot remoulade with homemade mayonnaise, + Fruit salad. Have just realised I have nothing except an empty wine bottle to bring water in.image

    I'll bring the water artjakimage

and the cheese straws I made today though they come with a warning. I don't rate them very highly compared to the usual ones
