Ooops sorry - was trying to do something with quotes - I have never been able to get that to work for some reason
I agree: the Quotes function does not seem to work smoothly like it used to. I took about ten goes to get the above sorted. Sometimes it's easier to copy and paste and just change the style to italics or bold manually to separate it from your own post.
Glad it's not just me Birdy! It may also have something to do with the fact that I work on a mac rather than a PC & tend to access the forum via the Safari search engine. That causes problems with a few sites still. I always get the message that my selected quote has been stored but it then doesn't retrieve it to paste in the new posting.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Star gaze, I was taking the group pic; just as well I wasn't in it; I tend to look like a boiled egg with a dead squirrel on top
Dove, I forgive you
What a lovely description! - Except it's not true.
Phew!

Ditto - I use Safari on my iPad most of the time.
