  • Hey Panda!  How about 530 train....  Assuming we leave west acre at closing time at 1530, we should be back 1645 ish if no traffic.  So lets make it comfortable timewise and if we make good time we can grab a coffee together before your train. Does that work for you?  Just yell if need to be back earlier.

Do you like ginger beer, Panda?

Nut, have got the bird food.

African Violet Centre, have not been there for a year or 2. The shop was always full of naff 'cute' cr.p. (I don't do cuteimage) Over the last 2/3 years, the plants outside always looked a bit sad and neglected. Plus, I actually loathe African Violets; I find them quite creepy!image

  • Panda, Dove,

Hubbie went to sburys in his lunchhour and bought ham, stuffed peppers and ginger beer.  I'll pick up some bread, apples and hopefully blueberries on sat morning.  Panda has sausage rolls.  Dove got couple of cheeses.  It's going to be fab!  I'll bring a picnic blanket and plastic plates!

    Cant wait!

  • That is, if I don't eat the ham, stuffed peppers and ginger beer.  Just got in from work and am starving and now I've written about them I can't stop thinking about them....image

Hi everyone - safely home last night - very chilled & pretending not to notice the piles of washing & the fact that the grass is about 6" long.

Thanks for your PM nut - I'm still coming tomorrow - have I got it right that we're meeting about 11.15? Is there a car park &, if so, is that where we're meeting?

All that talk of picnic has made me hungry - afraid I'm going to be very boring & bought myself a pac of sandwiches during a quick dash to W/rose this morning - prawn & watercress tho' - so very yummy!!image

Hope the wrist's on the mend Dove - I missed having decent internet & haven't really been able to keep up with all the news & goss.

Really looking forward to scouring the plant stalls with you all imageimageimage
