I've realised no one reads emails LP, especially utility companies, councils, banks - the list goes on forever. It's the 21st century equivalent of someone asking you a question, then talking over you when you try to answer....

Lily P breathe x I'm sure you'll get it sorted out eventually
I paid for a mining survey when we planned to buy this house ..result a letter saying no mining for the last 25 yrs and none planned ...I blinking knew that I worked for British Coal when they shut the pits around here or the NCB as I prefer to remember it by. What I wanted to know was if they had mined under "our" house, I doubted it as a railway nearby but wanted to know for insurance purposes.
Fairygirl, I do agree with you about people and emails. Several years ago, I thought emails were wonderful as they saved so much time with not having to make endless phone calls. However, times have changed and so many of my emails are either completely ignored, or only partly replied to, by businesses, fellow committee members and family. I recently wanted to query my house insurance policy and after three phone calls of listening to endless music, decided to try and email. However, all I could find was 'do not use this email address to reply' notices. Am now wondering if I'm wasting my time if I write them a letter. They bombard me with plenty of letters when they want to sell me extra insurance.
Absolutely BB. Makes you despair sometimes. The only one I've been impressed with is Royal Mail. Their customer service is outstanding and they reply very promptly.
Even when I was a bit rude when I got mail for three other households one day, and suggested postmen surely needed to be able to read when applying for the job....

Had an email from the water company saying they had contacted Scottish Water and we are connected to a mains sewer
this, it would appear, is his interpretation of doing a survey!
he still does t seem to get it that there are two buildings here
going to insist they actually come and lift the man hole and see the water going on
he clearly had not read my email, this guy gets paid??!!

RB, thinking of you and your son. We are all here for you, take care of yourself too.
Love and very best wishes xx
Edd. Try to calm down. Many of us have occasional lumps which are not dangerous. She'll be watched.
Not easy I know Edd, but as others have said try to stay calm. Hopefully it will just be a cyst. Sending hugs.
