You may remember I received a letter from the hospital my dad died in, asking me to fill out a tick box exercise. I wrote back, detailing all that the family thought wrong. I wrote to the chief executive. The patients liason dept wrote back.  Because I pointed out that actually, my mother is next of kin, they wont talk to me until mum has signed to say they can.   Another letter coming up...

    Edd

    just read your message

with all due respects have some compassion for others who have problems due to life's problems that impact us all over time. I lost my dear dad 12 years ago and miss him every single day that I live. I believe this thread has brought  people together and shows that deep down there is more good in people than bad

Also most gardeners i have had the pleasure to meet are, in the main, good people. I think that because we are all close to nature due to our love of all thing gardening

Anyway that's got that off my chest and as always

    Happy Gardening

Dont be too hard on Edd, he really is a lovely person and is usually our resident joker!

He has his share of problems, one quite recently, but he is a private person so I can see why he doesnt like this thread.

Please, dont make anything of it, we can all post our thoughts, problems etc and we will continue to support each other.

Thank to KEF for opening this thread.

  • I've only just had time to come on and have a catch up.  Dove, I'm so sorry to read your sad news.  I hope your mum can take comfort from feeling your dad is still the and I am sure that in spirit he really still is.

Such a sad time for many people, my thoughts and love go to all those bereaved, struggling with illness or with sick loved ones xx
