The rapid responce team are coming twice a day up until Monday morning, after that the district nurses says there are no carers to come to this area. A week is good though, takes the pressure off.

Its times like this when I wish anyone live near me RB,! I will be moving nearer to my daughter when I get older,
My district nurse is going to a meeting tomorrow and is going to put the case out to show how bad it is. I cant see any point in complaining, there are just not enough girls to go round. Even the private company who charge a lot of money, dont come as far as this.
It seems silly that I am only about 6 or maybe 7 miles from tavistock or Launceston and its easy roads that no one wants to come here.
Ah now, you will like this.,. I had a call from the Marie Currie nurses offering to come and sit tonight, I said I would be ok as I can give her an extra dose(doc says thats ok) and I asked her if I could ring when I did need help, she said it didnt work like that, they ring me when they have someone and offer to come !!!!!

Lyn this probably sounds so obvious but I feel you are at the stage now whenever any help is offered you must take it, whether you feel desperate or not. Living as you are just now you do not know what lies ahead
if the MC nurse was there tonight at least you could have had a long bath and got some sleep.
Think about putting yourself first please. You are no good to your mum if you collapse.
