As it says, you're only exempt if you have the exemption certificate.
I find it amazing that the pricing bureau even bother to check people who are obviously diabetic and having insulin. It seems to me a no brainer, that if they are on insulin, then they should get it free.
They dont seem to pick up on the ones on income support going on a three month holiday to some foreign land and having a stock up on medicines to take with them.
But I should probably put that on the rant thread.
Hope e everyone is going to Castle Verdun , it will do us all good to catch up on the sunny break, good convalessing for those that need it too I will bake a cake and fudge
Free prescriptions that will be the day my wife has PPMS in three years went from walking, running, jumping well not so much jumping. Now she's in a wheelchair full time, she will never get better, there is now cure, just 200 pills a month for the pain.
She cant have these free as MS is not a killer so we pay we do have a PPC so that helps but with a click of a button at NICE all PPMS sufferers could have it free one less thing to have to worry about.
I found doughnuts grow best in a paper bag at room temperature but you do need to take them out regularly and check for taste
If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.
The Gardeners Boy, that's dreadful, MS may not be counted as a killer but it's so long term you'd think the NHS could manage something. Hugs to you and your wife. And you've kept your sense of humour,, I wish doughnuts grew!
I haven't looked here for a bit and I see that Lily has sent me a lovely get well card. It's worked! I'm better, thank you.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Gardener's boy I'm am sorry to hear about your wife's health. Best wishes to you both. I admire the fact that you haven't lost your sense of humour, quite often we laugh because if we didn't we would cry
KEF. thanks for that as you say if we didn't laugh we would cry, it can be hard sometimes but we have always looked on the bright side and try to find something to light about most of the time usually related to getting older.
Were just off to the allotment catch you all later
