Thinking of Lily and her friend this morning - hope news is positive.....

  • Thank you Chicky.

Have heard from friends daughter, operation went well and hopefully this time things should be ok. More treatment to follow of course but fingers crossed everything will gradually improve and she will make a full recovery.

Thank you all so much for your kindness, means a lot to me.

Nothing I can say to help, except that you're obviously a very good and kind man and your mum is very lucky to have you as a son image

My thoughts are with you alll

I care for my parents, dads 90 mums 86, but I am so fortunate to have been able to have a lovely 2 bedrommed extension built onto their bungalow so I am here all the time.

I also feel fortunate because I am an only child so all decision are just mine.

When my MIL was in care, there were 5 children and they all had to ring each other when anything needing deciding.

Although Verdun has a brother, it may not be a bad thing that you are alone in this.

Pleased your getting somewhere Verdun, hope you can sort something with your brother if only for your mums sake. Must be sad for her not to see her other son. But I'm sure she is aware and very grateful of all the things you do for her. My very best wishes you and your mum. Love and hugs x

Star gaze lily.   I am so glad. I am sure you are a special friend. Your support will matter

I am sorry for everyone going thro difficult times with parents I truly sympathise. I can hardly write this as it brings it all back. Mum had motor neurone disease. Devastating, particularly for her.
