Some update pics - in the first picture you might see a frog's head if your eyesight is good.
The next picture shows the typha minima on the left, yellow flag furthest away and sibirica on the right side along with the marsh marigold in a pot. In the 'bog area' on the furthest side you might just be able to see the juncus effusus and fibre-optic grass. Heartfelt thanks go to Lyn,Victoria and Bekkie without whom this pond would not have been possible. I really can't thank you enough...
Fishy it's a triumph. Well done I did see the frog after I enlarged the pic. I have an invitation to go for an eyetest. I think I'll take them up on it
I think I need a snapping turtle to get the weeds down a bittie. It is 'ENCROACHING' in a knotweed like manner. Can one get voracious vegetarian frogs ?
Happy new frog! Your pond is lovely, so much neater than mine! I spend hors watching all the creatures in it, the neighbours must thing im practising to be a gnome!. Well done

All I have had is two bees and a black beetle, all dead. There are some butterfly wings in there today and hundred of gnat larvae.
