    No Philippa rant away I also dont agree with mirrors in the garden.  The do look lovely but they must cause problems for birds.  So far the bird stickers have done their job a bird pulled up sharp yesterday and quickly diverted.  Im not jealous of your robin anymore BM I too have a baby robin.  As you said at first it looks like a baby thrush will all those spots and the soft brown colouring but you can tell by the legs.  No other bird has those legs.  Oh apart from someone I went to school with (mentioning no names).  He or she is lovely, follows me around the garden while I am working no doubt waiting for me to find him a juicy worm.   Visited by three starlings yesterday the first Ive seen in the garden at this house. Very prettily marked but such bullies when It comes to feedig.
