Message for dove from above, today I googled robin fledglings and that's def what he is Hopefully he wil stay around my garden for years to come as think they are meant to be territorial Don't know when he will get his red breast
Thanks Beaus Mum such lovely photos. While I was sitting in the conservatory a few days ago I heard a bump and there was a sparrow lying on the ground he had hit the window. I picked him up and held him, his eyes were flicking and I could feel his heart beating but he had obviously gone into shock as he was rigid. I stroked him for about five minutes and eventually he started to move and finally flew away. I have now bought those horibble stickers for the doors, I really dont like them but I dont want any other birds to hit the glass. At a previous house we had a sparrow hawk hit the window and break his neck it was horrible, so I guess Ill just have to put up with the stickers.
Oh Yviestevie what a lovely story about the little sparrow but too sad about the sparrow hawk. Who cares about horrible stickers as long as they do their job, knowing you they are blooming lovely stickers anyways Don't want to make you jealous but think I have twin baby robins as def have two visit me every day
The blackbirds at the start of this thread have flown, leaving cherry stones al over the floor and sh... all over the mowers with special attention to handles and steering wheel
I had avlotvof trouble trying to posts picture and finally could only do if from the computer, yet there us a line, ad Victoria sponge says that says it will enable any images to be uploaded?
