I found my seed compost must have had seeds in as a few weeds popped up( I dont have that kind of weed in my garden and had to ask on here what it was) not very impressed.
Afraid I can't help with the weed invaders. Fortunately, I didn't have any. Finally passed on my young plants and have 3 left left which I'm sure will be more than enough for our purposes. They now stand at around 10" and when I fashion some protection of the compost against the pesky squirrels I shall be leaving them out overnight. Have been going out every day except when cold and/or windy. Just hope I can get them to grow a bit straighter as some are going off on a bit of a tangent and I don't want them to snap once they start bearing fruit!
