Flo that is so helpful, I have most of those ingredients and I can improvise.

Glyn if the plants were looking better I would complain but when I first looked I thought that I had a fungus as some of the plants now have an autumnal tinge. I shall console myself with puffs.

    Dean who are you stalking???

  • I may have grabbed the wrong end of the stick! Ref email's! Saying I supposedly posted! .......?

Glyn, Clematis Armandii, fabulous. Nothing ate mine and the blackbirds nested in it - twice! Flowers and scent truly wonderful.

I'm trying to upload a photo but the site, or my computer, is creaking

  • Oh well! Bed time for me! Not looking forward to the 4n 1/2 hour drive home! Being a driver as a career it may sound odd! But then again, I know decorator's who have never decorated there own home n plasterers who just get plastered at home!

Great news! Right, puff pastry's going on the list for this weekend :- )

  • Just been watching one of our students on Be Your Own Boss with RIchard Read of Innocent Smoothies. He and his partner got some preliminary funding help for their Lazy Camper product for fetsivals and got though to final 3 in the programme. Didn't win the big funding though.image

Kate, sounds like a winner with the puff pastry. I have a pack in the freezer!

Sounds like the clematis might be a winner. Let's hope I look after it properly. Flo, you plant must be huge if blackbirds are nesting in it. What is a good situation for it, do you think?

  • Watched GW last night, very relaxing episode.

Nigel's getting plenty of screentime. Nige certainly seems to have a very enviable and laid back approach to gardening.

I was wondering whether those chickens have got names. Wonder if they're trying to get in on the act. They'll need to do a bit better than that if they want to become famous too.
