My prediction is the BBC will vanish under a mountain of brickbats from those of us who hate tennis, I would rather watch paint dry. They have just closed down the film on Beeb 1 so both channels are now showing the idiotic game. why is that wellington boot sticking out of my TV screen???
Ooh Frank, you should join my OH. Not sure who's got the remote, but as I said earlier it's only 2 weeks a year- sorry.
Local forecast for tomorrow now awful, so no idea what/where OH & me will do. Lounge picnic again? Looking at next week, not much better either. You bet Tuesday afternoon will be best, when have to stay in earshot of house phone for call from hospital- apparently new idea instead of us going down to clinic. True, saves petrol, parking fees, time etc, but I cant hear the phone from bottom of garden & the answerphone not the best idea! J.
There are already around 50 complaints on POV-you can't please everyone with finite resources-the film has been shown many times before and Wimbledon always plays havoc with timings-as a tennis, Indy and gardening fan-I will survive
No ice cream man on the moors, but I went to the beach every sunday with my grandparents and my grandpa always bought us ice creams There was a friday shoppers bus and when I was old enough and earning baby sitting money I was allowed to go into town after school and get that bus home, it gave me about an hour to shop.
When you mention the moors I have visions of highwaymen, lanterns swinging in the breeze and Sherlock Holmes searching for dogs.
Did you feel very grown up on you first bus ride-I realised when my eldest was a big boy when he made his first reverse charge call to say he would be late-no mobiles then

I lived on the moors, how was I supposed to go to the pictures
I did not like screaming even as a child.
What is your prediction for the Murray game?
The plucky Brit will have a funny 5 minutes at some point but will win in 3 or 4 sets-I am on a roll don't forget.
The roof and lights will be needed
No Indy-tennis on instead
Watching Indy on video

Disgusted and fed up Frank.
I was really confused there for a minute I turned over then they made me turn over again. So is he worth a tenner?
Sorry Frank I am the one person who thinks sport and gardening can live together in harmony.

Kate Andy M is a shoe-in-would I lie to you?
Murray is only £1.50 for a tenner
Jo you keep a tight grip on that remote.
£1.50 wont get you a lolly at at the pictures-did you have an ice cream man on the moors- or buses?
