Hello, forkers--sorry to hear about your weather--hope it stops raining soon. No dramas here-just grey and rainy, but no flood danger. The gravel hill in front of my house is in rough shape, though--there is a stream running down it.
All xmas prep done, niece arrives on Christmas Eve. Just have to make up her bed.
The dogs know there are treats in their stocking, have had to hide it away.
I wish I could be busy outside--having smoking cravings. Might try the patch for a day, see if it agrees with me.

Evening all . I'm back. Really nice evening. Could have stayed longer but I was getting a bit too famiiliar with the brandy . Hubbie drove - just as well coz it was up wibbly wobbly lane and it was proper Sherlock Holmes weather govner ! Really thick fog. Now jimjamed up and watching Scrooge. Met up with some old friends and had a good chat.
Could have stayed longer Geoff but like I said ....................
Early start in the morning as well - going to visit rellies.
Thinking about Kate before. Maybe we'll here from her now schools out.
No Beck's either. If I were her I would be threatening to cancel. She will get a free month - we've always done that if we have a problem. They bend over backwards.
