I can report we are having a sunny interval-the rain has stopped, the wind has dropped and have used this window to put the green waste bags out-just thought you might like to know.

Jo -please find this voucher or I won't settle tonight

We had the sunny spell here in S Devon about 2 hours ago. Rain's back now with screaming wind. Batten down the hatches.

Thank you so much.  Where were we ... oh yes, Cornwall.  I am not sure the gardens will be worth visiting in this weather, but which ones would you particularly recommend?

Muddyfork-is this a Nile cruise, a trip to the Pyramids ,or lounging in the sun?

Yes, went to Eden Project last year (and the sun shone nicely).  Thank you for the thought.

Off to town tomorrow to get holiday clothes: waterproof trousers and a sou'wester.  Garden now in the 'completely wrecked' category: broken shoots and flowers everywhere and two smashed pots.  Still, there's always next year ... I said that last year.
