Becks - those are reasons OH says don't bother changing.

I know bjay. It's why I've never done it really. I'm not one for switching and changing stuff, too much hassle to be honest, but that BT Vision really is doing my head in. It's only a 12 month contract with Sky, so if I don't like it, I can swap back. image

Geoff, if it goes wrong, it goes wrong. If my land line went down, and I had a different broadband provider, it would still cock up anyway, cause it runs through that line. And I wouldn't care if the TV went down! image  We'll see. I was told, always try things at least once!! imageimage

Oh, andno, I didn't list anything! image About to start in a minute. How's the book doing?

Flo was MIM - Missing in Meeting. (Monthly trustees meeting of Dog Rescue) Missed the sunshine, late lunch just microwaving. Flo waving to all forkers out there ~ ~

Garden is crying out for attention so I have bought a pole with twirly bits on to hang bird feeders and suchlike. Normally I would construct such edifices but I found a forgotten envelope with some birthday money that my mum gave me and decided to blow it all at once. It's 10% discount day at the local GC for persons of a certain age so got a seed feeder as well for the money. Hope to have time to erect it this pm though have to figure out how to make it stand up as I don't have a base for it.

HI everyone.  Becks - we've been with Sky almost from the start and we've never had any probs with them (fingers crossed).  They are one of the best companies for trying to keep their customers and if anything does go wrong just threaten to cancel and that will sort it straight away.

I've just been to a brilliant "garage sale" across the road at neighbours due to move shortly.  So far I've got a pile of new bricks (for new flowerbed), a bag of compost, a 4 drawer plastic unit on wheels, a garden table and 4 chairs - ALL FREE!  They haven't finished sorting yet and I've been promised first refusal on any gardening stuff.image

Hope all who are under the weather get better quickly.  Geoff - spotted anything new today? image.

Bjay- re your bulbs. How about just putting them into plastic pots for now. Daffs  need to be in asap, tulips can be left until Dec if nec. Having them in pots mean that they get started & then next spring when hopefully your feet are improving you can get them planted out properly, or supervise the planting?

Am lucky in that the feeling in toes didnt go, just lost nails & developed brick like nails- tell the other lady free chiropody is available!! I did lose some feeling in fingertips, but it has returned, apparently no guarentee either way image. Still am having fingernail probs & splitting of skin at tips of fingers. Needed plaster earlier.....

4-5mths on & the chemo effects are beginning to go, but it's a long haul. Am not brave, far from it, but moan & winge regularly. Just have to go with the flow. The roller-coaster ride that is a cancer diagnosis has begun to slow down, phew, but it all takes time & am an impatient, intolerant s*d!! J.

Wow to me - managed to post without shout for help. i did leave out pecans as you never know with nut allergies and children

I had thought of doing that withthe bulbs and then could bury pots in spring till flowering over. Got alliums as wellso will give them a go as well. OH very unimpressed with gardening but likes to use a mower!!!

t moment foot beginningto come back to life and not a pleasant sensation. OUCH!!!! image

Putting OH down and he doesn't deserve it. He is in process of digging new flower bed for me - nearly finished . He digs big holes for large plants, rakes , mows tidies, chops wood. And for last couple of years has done most of cooking, cleaning and chauffering. But does grumble all time!!!

    Guess I'm spoilt really.image

image Well posted BJay!  Do you think they would work in ordinary bun tins as I don't have a muffin tin?
