Brummie Ben, Sue has carpel tunnel, I had tendonitis from milking, years ago. I now have osteoarthritis in thumbs. Hope the Doc does something successful with Sue's.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

That sounds painful. Hope you both get sorted out with Docs.

Back from shops. Nothing too exciting but did manage to get 6 Martguerita daisies plug plants from Aldi - £1 99 image Also went to H/bargains to investigate the seed disk situation and they have the hanging basket ones back in .

    This is it.

Ok, here's my stupid question of the day...image

Jess is getting into recycling, and when we opened our seed potato bags today, she wants to re-use them as pots to plant stuff in. image

I've just filled one, and it holds a fair bit of compost, 6 inches deep, but as it's covered in holes, anything that grows in it, the roots are just going to come out the holes. Do you think she'd get away with 3 or 4 carrots in each? Or a lettuce??

Daughter works in Cheleltenum and has not been there when the festival is on before - she says there's a mobile burger stand selling horse burgers, mobile betting shops and police stations, people wearing kilts, playing bagpipes and some dressed as horses!

She manages a dress shop and she sold out of the smart clothes lines at the end of last week, she has a delivery today

Much more herself now thank goodnessimage

This morning I have started on th front garden. That climbing hydrangea plant I am goin to put up the blank wall, I will shape bed to take in drain and use it for pots and, if I ever get on top of the couch grass will then plant a selection of shrubs and a few perennials using a colour scheme of red/orangs with odd bits of blue. There is a Queen Elizabeth rose(pink) but can't move that as the neighbours gave it me as a thank you for organising the street party. That is the wall side

Whoops picture downloaded in wrong place

Any way suggestions please for 'red' shrubs

Already on list is berberis Nana
