I haven't got a picture. I don't grow flowers, just veg, and nothing is up yet. Garden looks like a builders yard at the moment while I'm building my veggie beds.
I had a shock this morning. was doing the e-mail clean up
there was one for Garden Gallery 2013, so I htought I would enter it from there. My profile page flashed up and said that entry to that thread has been blocked, I haven't done anything naughty and I am not a troll, Made me go all funny So tried to enter form the Forum and entered with no problem but it was very slow
Morning Glory seed have soaked and split sp will plant them in indidvidual pots later.
Bught a Magnolia today - the soulangea- type - £6 from Morrisons and a clematis, variety I was after last year so I amwell pleased, especially as I had a £5 token
LOL at the antics of Olive this morning. Oscar had a large dead fish once when we were on holiday (Ewwwww)
Raised beds are for veggies Bunny, because of large quantities of tree roots and compressed clay seemed easy solution. One brassicas , one, legumes, one roots/onions and the new one will be for squash and other 'exotics'
I find they work very well, i can use that crop rotation and in wet last year they continued to crop nd did not get waterlogged.
I started on a small scale in other house, mostly in pots and a very small, slug ridden bed, but it never really worked but gave me a 'taste' for growing .
My work here today is done, and home-time at 1pm, so gunna sit out the last 20 mins in the office, and will actually for the first time in a long time, get away on time! : )
