  • Morning all, wet and miserable here. No, Geoff missed that one, The review wasn't particularly good, did you watch? Is it worth it? Will catch up on Montalbano today though. Am Reading Henning Mankell at the moment, The Man From Beijing.
  • Huge spider in the living room, big body and long legs, currently exploring the wall at the top of the room. Hope it's not coming in my direction!
  • Penninepetal, last night for me was One Man and his Dog, SCD then Montalbano followed by the Clintons, quite an insight that one.
There was one lady who got my attention, a real beauty with fine hocks lovely wool and fiesty, she faced the sheep dog down and stamped her foot saying "back off pal" the one on Montalbano was not too bad either.

    Glynn-no I didn't see it-spiders -yikesimage

I think with XF it is now over produced-all that filming outside and in the waiting area-when all we really want to see is people making an idiot of themselves-did I really need to know that " my daaddy" was in prison

    Chickens still arguing

  • Frank, lots of sheep farmers around here, a very well known family locally specialising in female sheepdog handlers, Katy Cropper was a champion. Whenever there is an event on locally though, it always seems to rain.

Geoff I have quite a few mates who also feel that they are being manipulated with XF, it is fast becoming car crash tv.

I have finished trimming and dead heading, I have found some more flower buds on my schizostylis.

I am not scared of spidersimage

Someone was looking for suppliers of schwhotsits earlier-that is good news about yours-two doors up their alstromeria is flowering again and mine isn't -I might be doing something wrongimage

Footy-all the papers make Nigel first to go -there is a bloke up the road who has no job-what are the chances?-what must it be like to read that you might lose your job soon?

Spiders are the devil incarnate-what good do wasps do?

I think Nigel is too busy reading the Sits Vac column to have time to read the back pages. I just hope he has a good pay off in place. I thought Arry had fell out with the Saints fansimage

I turned my compost earlier, so that I can have cake laterimage it was so full of worms, I did think that it was not work for the faint hearted.

I was given some alstromerias and sadly they did not like my clay soil.

Good morning, all--after reading about your schizostylis, I checked mine, and it has buds! I have been potting up bulbs for the spring---dug many out of a bed I am revamping--recognize most, but not all--some of my pots will be a surprise!

Yesterday I made maple walnut cinnamon buns--when I tasted one, thought there was something missing--I forgot the cinnamon! So I've made cinnamon butter--my official taster is coming for late breakfast, so we'll see how it goes.

Part of the fun Glyn sitting on a wet straw bale dressed in your oils, a soaking wet dog drying himself between you legs. I think someone slipped some right bolshy Southern sheep in though, a couple never even got to the pen after the split.
"t'other alf" tonight they might even show rounding up hens with geese another local pastime.

    Frank.
