What about squirrels - they are partial to digging up crocus bulbs, and replanting them. They're only trying to be helpful - spreading the bulbs around for you. image

Did you hear that on Gardeners QT they said that hanging up a bar of scented soap deters squirrels. - Chris Beardshaw tip

    Never thought of squirrels Garyimage

Well, that was an interesting walk to the shops with Jess and her scooter! imageimage Had promised her a chip shop lunch, but she changed her mind in the Co-Op and opted for a prawn pasta salad bowl instead!! image What type of child am I bringing up!!! Was really looking to a chippie! image

Home now, and can carry on in the garden.

Bjay, I'm pretty set up with all my veg seeds thanks, unless you have anything unusual?

If anyone doesn't want any climbing french bean seeds -I'm your manimage

    imageJess!!

  • Becks, that reminds me of when my brother decided to walk to the shops in the village - he disappeared up the road with the dog, who was not good at walking on the lead and pulled all over the place, and his 4 year old twins on their new scooters that I'd just given them - they went off in all directions!

You can have some of my saved pumpkin seeds if you like - no guarantee of success though!

Geoff, think I will need all my french bean seeds, sorry!

No nothing unusual - just loads of extras and the seed swap page I can't get my head roundimage

Just been to GC and bought 2 pots of cycalmen coum, looked out for them last year and didn't manage to get any.

We stopped off at an Honesty table as I saw snowdrop pots and there was this lovely deep purply-pink hellebore so for £2 I got that and a pot of snowdrops. Must be a thng with hellebores though - by the time we arrived home the flowerhead had snappedimage

I have sugar snap peas! and carrots

Well I saved the seeds out our pumpkins last year Lottie, but they were ornamental pumpkins apparently, from Asda, not to be eaten. Would these seeds still grow, or would they be duds do you think?
