Becks you can sow Broad beans now if yu want, and brassicas (Cabbagen broccoli,)and lettuce (Little Gem) they all will likeyour new GH. Probably have a party in it to celebrate being the first seeds
Lovely, garden , We decided this lunchtime we are definately going to Cornwall for 2 weeks or so beginning of July. Any gardens recommended -Have done Heligan and will do Eden again
We loved Trebah, which winds it's way down a valley with stream and ponds, lovely planting down to the sea. Hidden Valley gardens, Treesmill PL24 2TV are lovely for summer planting, lots of perennials. A lot of Cornish gardens are best earlier in the year for the azaleas and rhododendrons.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I did some cabbage today Bjay! And Caulifower! I'm not sure I'm going to do lettuce again this year. I did it last year, and it was ok, but we don't eat a lot of it, and I threw most the plants away. Might just do a couple.
