Morrisons have had clematis and passion flowers for £1.79 for quite a while. there are lots of varieties of clematis. Not big enough to plant out yet but one I bought earlier on this year has already flowered and has more buds on.
Best gold chances today seem to be in velodrome, where 3 are on offer, 5.30pm. We have chances for 2 of them - Chris Hoy and Victorian Pendleton - Hoy's isn't certain, and she has strong competition.
Also men's triathlon, 11am-2pm. Though as we saw with the women's triathlon, things don't always go according to plan.
Might get a bronze on the gee-gees and also - wind surfing! The gee-gees surprised me yesterday. Men's high jump could possibly surprise. Interesting to see what happens about this guy Phillips Idowu, fancies himself as a Bolt.
Do hope that Sally Pearson (Aussie) wins women's hurdles tonight. This great sporting nation has won very little so far. They need to have some success.
Gary it is odd that the Asutralians did not benefit from a Sydney legacy, they were saying today that they do not get the same sort of money help as the GB team, all those lottery tickets I have been buying have bought us medals apparently.
When I was a child they always argued that the Russians/Americans/Chinese had circumnavigated the amateur rules, so I suppose we are getting our own back now.
Geoff I think you will find that you will not need funding to help you win gold in the Diamond Club Games.

It was sunny here until the moment I left the office, then it clouded over.
Geoff has promised me a hot and sunny weekend next week so at leasty I have something to look forward to.
When does the Olympics come to an end? The TV in my house is constantly tuned into pictures of people swimming, running or jumping.
It depends on how long they have been sitting in the store-the clematis- not the viennese fingers-did it look ok?
KG it all ends on Sunday-I always keep my promises

Last year I bought a £2.99 Constance Elliott Passion flower from Sainsburys and it isn't - it is just the ordinary one
Should I complain ?

Buying from plants from Sainsburys means you get nectar points

Grey and damp here today.
There may be a GB one, two in the triathlon -two brothers are favourites
Roger Black has explained that the funding has made all the difference -has not helped my dreams though
