Triandrus is the term for two or three (or more) flowers on each stem Tracey
I have Silver Chimes and Thalia which are both that type. They're scented so it's another reason to plant them. I've got Tresamble this year which I've not tried before. They're a bit shorter so should hopefully be more wind and waterproof
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
A couple more from the orchard. The double one seems to have a nearly full corona with a load more petals inside, is this normal structure for a double. I've never really paid much attention.
I know its high summer, but it's time to get the choice of the best daffodils for next year. I'm looking for new bulbs for the pots, and I have a hankering for some orchid flowered daffs in clumps of their own.
for cheap and cheerful, and some good bonus offers, i have always found Parkers good for bulbs.
Thank you Fidget, some beautiful flowers there, I like the orchid flowered ones (obviously) but also need (or is it want??) some Alliums and Tulips, the flower farm website looks great at first glance.
I think I may well be restricted on budget unfortunately Although OH likes tulips so they would be for his benefit

Then for the exquisite, raised in Cornwall varieties, you need to look at Fentongollan Farm, and Ron Scamps sites.
