Lovely pix from everyone. I only have the ones that I inherited in flower just now. Still a few weeks from seeing any of the new bulbs I planted in autumn. We're always a bit behind up here though. Looking forward to Cheerfulness, Thalia and Silver Chimes soon
Wouldn't have one of those pink ones if my life depended on it.
Don't like salmon pink at all - unless it's a salmon....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
LOL at your pink comment Fairy, I was being polite....Tracey think it Fairy says it
Anyway, I planted daffs / Narcissi mix, just a cheap bag from B&Q last year and here are the pics, I don't know the varieties but really pleased with them and they are so pretty
They all look tremendous Tracey. It just cheers you up on a dull day to see those lovely little trumpets. I don't really like the bog standard common yellow ones, but I still like to cut them and bring them into the house even if I wouldn't actively plant them. On the way to the cemetery last Sunday I have to go through Dumbarton and there are some big open spaces between housing and in fornt of the Police station which are covered in thousands of daffs. It's not the most attractive area, so it just lifts it and makes it something special.
I really don't like peachy/salmony colours at all. Anywhere - indoors or out. Sorry Mrs G!

I like the 'bog standard' yellow ones if there is a big group of them, I think they look so graceful nodding their yellow heads, but for a smaller group like mine I like the different varieties.
Steephill has some gorgeous ones, I love the ones with lots of little flowers on one head (is that the correct term??)
Posts
Some of mine.
Boring old daffodils, just those vulgar nodding yellow heads. Bah! Don't know what anyone sees in them.
From my trial bed in 2011. Sadly slugs took a terrible toll and only the strongest survived.
Steephill- I like 1 and 6. 6 reminds me of the ones my mum used to make out of icing for decorating cakes.

You'll be envious of my pink daffs next year ladies...watch this space!
I like to call a spade a spade Tracey

My front garden is a bit boring so these brighten it up and make me smile as I'm working
